Le Logis du Jerzual is well located for enjoying the medieval city of Dinan. Housed within the walls of a traditional “maison bourgeoise,” the logis has its own character and ambiance. Dating from the 15th and 18th centuries, the rooms aren’t overly large, but comfortable, and Madame Ronsseray extends a warm welcome. The cozy house is just up a narrow passage from the main street, set behind its own gate and in a terraced garden. The four guestrooms are staggered on different levels and open onto a small staircase. Guestrooms and bathrooms were recentely redone and redecorated, and the guestrooms boast many handsome antique pieces passed down through the family. Breakfast is served inside in one of two small, cozy rooms—a back room with a beautiful old Breton clock and gorgeous sideboard or the other overlooking the front garden. In warm weather breakfast is offered at tables in the garden. Note: The location halfway up a cobbled street requires a lot of walking. On first arrival you can actually drive from the port right up the street amongst the pedestrians and park at the narrow passage to the bed and breakfast. Afterwards, Madame will direct you to a free parking lot for residents (which you are considered as an overnight guest).
